How to Make Donations to Barrier Free Boating, Inc.
Barrier Free Boating, as a 501(c)3 registered non-profit organization is completely reliant on grants and donations which enabled us to operate. We began operations in 2013 by raising $50,000.00 from private donors and organizations. These funds were used to purchase our specially designed 22’ pontoon boat and construct a custom built wheelchair accessible dock and fishing platform on Otter Lake, MI.
Every member of the Barrier Free Boating organization team are unpaid volunteers and 100% of ALL donations received go directly to operational maintenance and future expansion to other locations.
As Barrier Free Boating continues its goal of providing our recreational services to people with disabilities, veteran’s groups, group homes and youth organizations, we will continue to rely on the generous donations of those who see the benefits and importance of this invaluable service. We can only do this with the help and generosity of people like you.
REMEMBER, anyone who utilizes our pontoon boat or fishing dock does not pay a cent. OUR SERVICES ARE COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE.
